Dot Hack Sign

.hack//SIGN is a 26 episode anime that revolves around a Wavemaster named Tsukasa who becomes mysteriously trapped in The World, and also about a group of players who wish to find a mysterious item called the Key of the Twilight. Two OVA episodes were created with one about a player named Mimika and the other occuring in Net Slum a few months after the events of the .hack//Games.

Dot Hack

The .hack//Games are a four part video games series telling the story of a Twin Blade named Kite and a Heavy Blade named BlackRose trying to figure out why people are falling comatose.

Dot Hack Liminality

.hack//Liminality is a 4-episode OVA that takes place during the .hack//Games, with the fourth and final episode taking place at the exact time Kite's party fights Morganna. Liminality follows former CC Corp employee Junichiro Tokuoka and his own "party" on their quest to find what links the mysterious comas with The World. Each of the first three episodes focuses more on their title characters while the fourth episode has them all working together.

Dot Hack GIFT

.hack//GIFT is a single-episode OVA featuring characters from the .hack//Games and .hack//SIGN. The plot begins with Helba congratulating the players for clearing the game and inviting them to the Twilight Hot Springs. Meanwhile, Orca is found dead, with Balmung, the first player on the scene, accused of killing him. The entire episode revolves around the characters racing to get to the Twilight Hot Springs first while Balmung tries to clear his name by finding Orca's true killer.

Dot Hack Dusk

This anime is about where a boy name Shugo and his twin sister Rena win the Limited Edition Dot Hack Legendary Character PC's and then when things get weirder Shugo is given the Bracelet from the Ultimate AI Aura, and Shugo and his friends do what they can the save the world from danger once again.

Dot Hack Roots

In 2015, CC Corporation`s datacenter caught on fire destroying "The World". By splicing in data from what would have been another project, CC Corp. was able to rebuild the game. In 2016, "The World R:2" was released. .hack//Roots covers the time Haseo spent with Shino and Ovan in the guild known as the Twilight Brigade, before the .hack//G.U. PS2 games.

Dot Hack GU

The .hack//G.U. Games follow the story of an Adept Rogue named Haseo, known infamously as "The Terror of Death", that is hunting an enigmatic player known as Tri-Edge, to avenge his friend Shino.

Dot Hack GU Returner

The characters receive an email from Ovan requesting them to go to ? Hidden Forbidden Festival where a mysterious summer festival is set up. There they encounter an AIDA Chim Chim who wishes to peacefully co-exist with the players of The World. It then transforms into the word "Returner", which Haseo assumes it to mean that Ovan will return to The World. At the end of the episode, Ovan is reunited with Aina.

Dot Hack GU Trilogy

.hack//G.U. Trilogy is an original animated movie based on the events of the .hack//G.U. Games. Trilogy has a remix of the .hack//G.U. story and which includes 10 minutes of bonus features as well as a "Parody Mode", not seen since the Japanese release of the first four games. There's also a limited edition, which has a full color ".hack//G.U. World Guide."
